AIR NEWS INDIA Sr. correspondent Raja Syed awarded for best journalist & Social Services


Srinagar, Jan 26: Raja Sayeed rather Sr. correspondent Air News India for District Ganderbal today bagged an award for the best journalist during the function of Republic Day celebration held at Ganderbal. The award was provided to the journalist for his commendable social service and impartial and regress efforts for reaching to the common public of the district and highlighting their grievances.
On this occasion the Chief Guest was accompanied by DC Ganderbal Piyush Singla IAS, SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone JKPS, MLA Ganderbal Ishfaq Jabbar, Vice Chancellor/Registrar CUK, SSP Police PTS Manigam, Addl. Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Addl. District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, Commanding Officer 5RR, Commanding Officer 118BN CRPF, Commanding Officer 24RR, Superintendent Engineer R&B Ganderbal, Superintendent Engineer PDD Ganderbal, ASP GANDERBAL, ASP HQR besides other senior officers of Civil administration and Police Department were present. The whole event was under the supervision of Senior Suprintendent of Police Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone JKPS and DySP(P) Aakash Kohli was the parade commander.
Chief Guest Asiya Naqash took Salute to the March past of the participating contingents of District Police, Armed Forces, Para-Military Troops and Civil Defence aswellas the participating contingents of children from various Schools of District Ganderbal.

A large number of people took part of the event and school students presented and performed a Cultural Programme, as the Chief Guest Aasiya Naqash Hon’ble Minister also distributed prizes.  Elaborate Security arrangements were made by the District Police Ganderbal
